The initial discovery at Delta was made by a prior operator in 1976. Since that time numerous additional occurrences have been identified by exploration, including 141 drill holes.

Zinc-gold-silver-copper-lead mineralization occurs in three southeast-northwest-trending horizons that extend 15-20 km across the property. Most occurrences remain underexplored and there is excellent potential to make additional discoveries.

An initial estimate of the mineral resources for seven of the deposits was made in 2006. At a US$80/tonne cutoff, total inferred mineral resources are 15.4 million tonnes grading 0.6% Cu, 1.6% Pb, 3.8% Zn, 62 g/t Ag and 1.7 g/t Au.
