Niblack is a precious metals-enriched volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit, containing significant quantities of copper, gold, zinc and silver.

VMS mineralization at the Niblack property is hosted within a thick sequence of folded rhyolite volcanic rocks. The prospective rhyolite sequence extends for at least six miles across the property.

Mineral Resources

Six VMS zones - including the historic Niblack mine, Dama zone, Lindsy zone and Mammoth zone and the Lookout and Trio deposits -- have been identified on the property so far.

A total of 235 surface core boreholes and 164 underground core boreholes have been drilled on the property between 1975 and late 2011. Mineral resource estimates have been completed for the Lookout and Trio deposits.

Engineering Studies

These mineral resources have provided sufficient volumes and grades, including the significant high-grade core, to provide the basis to advance the project to the next stage. Engineering and other technical studies were initiated in 2011.

Exploration Potential

In addition to expanding the Lookout and Trio deposits supporting the new resource estimates, the comprehensive 2011 drilling program encompassed initial testing of other high-grade VMS target zones in the vicinity of those deposits.

The Niblack Assay table below lists key intersections in the Lookout deposit. Further details are provided in news releases (see Investor Centre).

LABORATORY & ANALYTICAL PROCEDURE INFORMATION

All of the known zones at Niblack remain open and are candidates for future resource expansion.

In addition, only ¼ of the six miles of the prospective horizon has been drill tested, with excellent potential for additional discoveries.
